Well, it took 5 days and 7 booked flights, but we made it to Chicago on Christmas Eve and spent a great Christmas with my family. These are all our boarding passes for flights we were booked for on the way out!
We flew through LA and got stuck there due to bad weather in Chicago, so we got to stay with Nathalie, Jim, and Amanda for a night. A silver lining to the journey...
They tried to route us through Nashville to Chicago on Christmas Eve but a Christmas angel found us a direct flight that morning. What a relief. I have never been so excited to see O'hare!
It was great to be home, but unfortunately was cut way too short, so hopefully we can get out there again soon.
