On top of the world

Derek gets the chance every now and then to travel to some of the small villages in Alaska. Here he is in Barrow a couple weeks ago at the "gateway to the arctic". Yep, that is indeed a frozen ocean behind him. And yep, those are whale ribs.



I think he looks pretty cute here, very Alaskan. I also think it looks too cold.
