Derek and I got the keys to our new home on Friday, so we celebrated by eating our first meal of takeout on the floor, (right where the table would be, of course). We had a nice surprise in the backyard to watch while we ate, too: A momma moose and her brand new twin calves! When they got to the yard, they were just stumbling around but by the time they left, they had eaten our rose bushes, peed on our grass, and learned how to run. It was pretty amazing to watch.
When I told everyone at work my exciting news, they looked at me like there must be more to the story. They all had baby moose in their yard too I guess. Well people, I am from Chicago. We don't have moose. We have squirrels. (Oh yeah, and fireflies, which I bet they wish they could see so there!!!)
P.S. please ignore the commentator's voice. I don't know who she is, but she sounds like she is mentally challenged so be nice.
Wow, that's a lot of pee...and you thought you had to go on the top of the mountain! Looks like Mama had to go for months. Enjoyed the commentary - and the cute little babies! Love you guys!...when's the baby due?!!
