Our great pals Nathalie, Teddy, and Lisa left the lovely SoCal summer to see us in Alaska last weekend.
Eva was so smitten with Teddy. Everything he did was like the coolest thing ever.
Unfortunately for Eva, he didn't think she was the coolest thing ever.
But I'm sure the tables will turn in a few years. She's just too immature for him now.
(I tried to tell her to play it cool. Maybe a little hard to get would be the right approach.)
We took them camping, and had a blast.
Teddy slept 10 hours in the tent.
Eva slept 10 minutes I think.
When we finally put the kids in their respective tents close to midnight, Eva spent several minutes waving at the tent door saying "nay nay" over and over. Just waving and waving until finally she passed out mid-wave.
She woke up in the morning waving at the door saying "nay nay".
All day when she saw those three she said "nay nay" and waved and smiled.
We weren't sure who was Nay Nay, if anyone, but I was pretty sure she had named one of them Nay Nay.
So on the way home from camping, we asked Eva to wave at Nay Nay and she turned to Nathalie and waved at her. Awww. Eva just gave her first nickname.
