Bedtime wishes

A few nights ago Eva was impossible to put to bed.  After the fourth visit in an hour to her room, Derek finally just asked her "Is there anything else you need before you go to bed??" And she nodded and said "Uh-huh.  Momma paint.  Pink. "  as she held out her fingernails.

Derek:  You want momma to paint your fingernails pink?

Eva: Mm-hmm. 

Derek:  Uh, not now. Tomorrow.

Eva: Ok. Night night.

And that was that.  Not a peep out of her.

So the next night I tried the same tactic.  She was giving us a hard time going to bed again, so I asked her, is there anything you need before I say night night??

Eva:  mm-hmm..

Me:  What's that?

Eva:  Gummy bears.

Me:  Not tonight. 

Eva: Ok. Night night

Hmmm....these are pretty unreasonable requests at bedtime, but she seems to easily take no for an answer.  And her wishes are pretty entertaining.

So I asked again last night.  She asked me for money.
