We took a weekend trip to Girdwood again this winter with Henry, the love of Eva's life, and his family. This time we decided to rent a house since we have two more children in the mix now.
and well....we might not be welcome at the hotel again after our children left their mark(s) last year....
Those kids had a blast together. I wish I had video footage from the first night...when we thought it was a good idea for Eva and Henry to share a room together. Parked their pack n plays next to each other. Not a good idea FYI. But they had a fun.
On day one, Eva ran downstairs from the loft that she and Henry were playing in and happily exclaimed:
"I'm officially Henry's girlfriend! Congratulations!" And ran back upstairs.
So it sounds like things are starting to get serious for them.
We took turns skiing and snowboarding. One couple babysitting, the other couple- FREEDOM!!

Henry actually fell asleep sledding. Now that's fatigue.
We didn't stay at the hotel, but we did sneak in and use the pool. I told Eva to pretend we are guests, so when we walked in, she loudly said, "Is this the hotel we are supposed to be staying at?"
Thanks baby. I've taught you well. ( Maybe a little more discreet next time though....)
