It was only an 18 hour excursion but it was fun. We had a beautiful, sweaty hike around Eklutna Lake while both kids napped in the backpacks. Ate some smores. Ate some dirt... (not naming names....Jackson.....) Stayed up late running around the hot hot tent. Froze by 3 am. And left by 8:00am cause the mosquitos ate us alive. But all in all a great success.
